Work that made a difference

Case Studies

the good, the bad and the ugly

We have developed, devised and delivered loads of really cool PR and social campaigns for well-known food and retail brands. What we can't show you are the negative stories we stopped from getting into the press and the crisies we averted, but trust us, there are lots. Here are a few of our proudest moments...

Asda Wonky Veg

leading the food waste debate, one wonky carrot at a time

Devised, developed and launched the multi-award winning Asda Wonky Fruit & Veg range after spotting an opportunity to tackle the agricultural food waste issue.

Partnered with Jamie Oliver on Friday Night Feast and subsequently launched one of the biggest and most successful food waste products of recent years, generating millions of pounds of national and global coverage.

Holland's Pies

pietastic pr

Helped the proper Lancashire pie baker get its northern heartland customers to fall back in love with the brand.

Kick-started a regional PR and social campaign to celebrate the pie-maker's roots and engage with pie-lovers both instore and in chippies. Generated a pie-tastic amount of coverage and drove social engagement exceeding that of the big national pie brands with a range of low-budget clever campaigns.

Matthew Walker Puddings

blingtastic puds

Teamed up with the biggest pudding company in the UK to create National Pudding Day in partnership with Great British Bake Off winner, Frances Quinn.

Developed trend stories around "blinging up" your puddings and convinced national supermarkets to join in. Gained national news and features coverage and lots of social chatter which helped the business generate a 3 percent  increase in sales.

Vickie is a very highly motivated, passionate, customer-focused professional with exceptionally strong PR credentials who consistently delivered fantastic results.

She understood a busy seasonal FMCG company and was keen to question ideas and ways of working to propose a plan that exceeded and contributed to the success of the category.

Vickie was not adverse to questioning my proposals and suggesting other ways of approaching the project to best meet all my business requirements and stretch idea further than we would have previously gone, which I admired.
